In present-day South Africa a white couple has sold their beloved farm to a developer. The story unfolds during the last night on the farm when one of their former black farm-hands named Look-Smart comes back after a fifteen year absence. During that fateful night Look-Smart explains why he left and why he has chose to come back. A fascinating story meant to be interpreted as a microcosm for the social development of South Africa.
