Timothy Burgess is a singer/songwriter and musician from Lancashire, England, who is perhaps best-known as the lead vocalist of the alternative rock band The Charlatans. After joining The Charlatans in the late 1980s, he released a series of records with the band, starting with its 1990s debut LP, Some Friendly, before dropping his debut solo album in 2003. The album, titled I Believe, offered a stripped back sound that appealed to both fans of alternative and indie rock. While still maintaining a busy recording and touring schedule with his band, Burgess continues to offer music as a solo artist, such as his 2012 record, Oh No I Love You, and his 2013 follow-up, Oh No I Love You More.
