When Paul Hindemith first got his start in the world of music, he was a violinist who dazzled the ears of listeners with the flourishes of his four stringed instrument. As he became older, though, a need to compose and write compositions that he thought would be pertinent to an audience overtook him and as a result Hindemith started writing original pieces. His work was extremely well received and after writing in an impassioned state of mind for over three decades, Hindemith's work has gone down as some of the more important classical work of the 20th century.
