Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds (Dave & Tim)

Now both respected musicians, Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds first met in Virginia when Matthews was a bartender and Reynolds was just starting his band TR3. While Matthews wanted to join Reynolds' band, he encouraged him to start his own band--advice that led to the now world-famous Dave Matthews Band. While both musicians have been frequent guests on each others' bands' albums, in 1993, they decided to start performing together as a duo on the side. Though they only tour and release live albums sporadically, the duo always manages to find time for the side project amidst their respective busy schedules.
