A Winged Victory for the Sullen

A Winged Victory for the Sullen is the musical project of Adam Bryanbaum Wiltzie and Dustin O'Halloran. The two musician/composers came across each other through mutual friend Francesco Donadello, who introduced them backstage during one of Wiltzie's shows in Bologna, Italy. The conversation between Wiltzie and O'Halloran began a curious friendship that gave life to what they describe as harmonic robitussin. A Winged Victory for the Sullen has been critically acclaimed for its ambient, cinematic and meditative music that is both subtle and genuinely striking. The duo released its debut self-titled album in 2011, which it promoted with a rare tour of the US's west coast.
