Gayle, born Taylor Gayle Rutherford, is an American singer. The Texas native took to singing at a very young age, and ultimately shifted base to Nashville to focus on a career in music. Following the release of a handful of self-produced singles, she was brought on board by Atlantic Records. She rose to prominence at the age of 17 when her major-label debut single "ABCDEFU" went viral on TikTok and Spotify in 2021, and broke into the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The track also found success in mainland Europe and the UK, as well as in Australia and New Zealand. She has since released other singles like "ur just lonely," "Don't Trip," "fmk" and the EPs a study of the human experience volume one and a study of the human experience volume two.
