Born in Margherita di Savoia, Italy RAF is a singer/songwriter who has been releasing his sentimental brand of love songs since 1983, when he released his debut album Self Control. The record was met with commercial success in Italy and RAF quickly rose as one of Italy's most famous pop stars throughout the 1990s. Though his mainstream popularity has since declined, RAF continues to release and perform his sugary sweet music.
