Bix Sigurdsson began experimenting with 8-bit samplers at the age of 13 after listening to the likes of Lauri Anderson and Brian Eno. The young Iceland native continued his experimentation through his twenties and soon had developed quite the set of skills in electronic ambient music, which has been featured on countless television commercials like Audi, Samsung and BMW. Simply going by Bix, the producer has written songs for several artists, provided remixes for the likes of Beck, Sigur Ros and Mum, and released his own dark ambient-electro solo work to much acclaim.
