Too few artists nowadays have a good sense of humor. Far too many musicians are concerned with trying to look pretentious and holier than thou, and this problem has no doubt affected the music these artists create and also the way individuals absorb music. Luckily, the British electronic duo Lemon Jelly is keen to create affable music that's both enjoyable to listen to as well as slightly cheeky. Formed in 1998, the group's music is an interesting blend of downtempo electronic beats set to instrumentals and sampled vocals from various erstwhile television and radio programs, as well as films and public service announcements.
