Rustie

Glasgow-based producer and DJ Rustie is among a collection of 21st century producers who are challenging the structures of hip-hop with the electronic sounds of dubstep, IDM and techno. Characterized by his ultra-bright, neon synth lines and largesse drums, Rustie's music is completely future-minded with only the occasional nostalgia for 1980s pop or 1990s rave music. Rustie is signed to the legendary Warp Records label, and maintains a presence within UK's underground music scene as well.
