After getting his start playing with several indie-rock acts, Chicago-based rocker Matt Reed released his first solo album, Where the Pale Girls Go, in 2005. The album highlights his abilities as a multi-instrumentalist, as a songwriter and as a singer. He lists David Bowie, Radiohead and Velvet Underground as some of his influences.
