Pianos Become the Teeth

Post hardcore band Pianos Become the Teeth was formed in Baltimore in 2006. After releasing its debut album Old Pride with Blackjaw Records in 2009, the band subsequently signed with Topshelf Recordings and re-released its debut effort as a digital download, in an attempt to reach a wider audience. As a screamo act in the later 2000s, the band has been dubbed as part of "The Wave," a new movement of post hardcore bands with similar styles including Touche Amore, Defeater and Make Do and Mend. Pianos Become the Teeth released its sophomore record, I'll Be Damned, in 2011.
