Bananarama is a female pop vocal group that was founded in London by friends Sara Dallin, Siobhan Fahey and Keren Woodward. The trio released its debut album, Deep Sea Skiving, in 1983 and throughout the 1980s the group would achieve popular notoriety with singles like "Cruel Summer" and "I Heard a Rumor."
