While four-piece Intergalactic Lovers are from Belgium, the band's catchy tunes are sung entirely in English which has helped the band develop a diverse fan base, particularly in the UK. Melding indie pop hooks with clapping, the occasional post-punk guitar riff and the smoky voice of front woman Chedraoui Lara--who brings to mind songstresses like Feist and Alela Diane--Intergalactic Lovers' music is uncannily catchy. Because of this earworm quality, the group has been picked up by radio stations throughout the UK and Europe and was given the opportunity to mix its debut album at the famous Abbey Road Studios in London.
