Cherry Ahava is a Mexican singer, composer and actress. She was born in a family of scientists and as a little girl, she was referred to as Gery, which was later changed to Cherry because of their similar pronunciation and her affection for cherries. She started her artistic education at the age of 5, and in 2008, she began the recording of her debut album, XOXO.
