Mario Barravecchia, born in 1976, is a Belgian singer of Sicilian origin. He began singing at age 11 and participated in numerous singing competitions. He attended the l'Académie Royale de Liège where he pursued music and dramatic arts and then moved to Paris in 1999. He got his big break in 2002 when he participated in the show Star Academy. He has since released his first CD, sold tons of albums and earned many devoted fans.
