From Indian Lakes

From Indian Lakes is an indie rock group based out of Yosemite Valley, California that released its debut LP, The Man With Wooden Legs, in 2009. The album introduced the listening public to a band that's not afraid of creating a unique sound for itself that's void of any encumbered pretension. Though one might be tempted to think that a band from the iconic Yosemite National Park, which John Muir treasured and Ansel Adams made iconic with his black and white photos, would have a down-home, rootsy folk sound, From Indian Lakes proves those expectations wrong with its straightforward, riff-driven rock songs.
