Bo Ningen

The London-based, Japan-born band Bo Ningen has successfully blended the musical styles of its two home cultures. The result of its cross-cultural background has been J-pop-tinged garage rock tracks that subtly reference psychedelic British Invasion and Krautrock. After earning acclaim from several respected publications for its 2009 EP and 2010 full-length, Bo Ningen quickly became the UK's favorite indie garage act, effortlessly blendings tight instrumentals with intentional discordance.
