Scottish-born Alan McGee formed has spent many years in the music industry as a both an artist and a major record producer. He is the founder of Creation Records, a big part of the mid-'80s indie movement in the UK. He is famed for signing Oasis, Jesus and Mary Chain and other major British rock act. He also played guitar, sang and wrote songs for his band Biff Bang Pow! He now manages Death Disco, an international night club, as well as manages and edits several culture and music blogs.
