The Association is a band from California formed in 1965 that is known for its sunshine pop style of music. In 1967, The Association made its entrance to mainstream music by performing the opening act for the Monterey Pop Festival. Since then, this band has delivered multiple chartbuster albums and singles that have been featured in the billboard Top 100 multiple times. With decades of experience in creating and performing, they are widely considered to be as the originators of sunshine pop.
