Benjamin Pettit is a U.K. drum 'n bass DJ with a breakbeat style. His mixes range from electronic reggae to hip hop-influenced hardstep. In 2007, exhausted of his drum 'n bass gigs, DJ Zinc abandoned his characteristic style and took a break from the DJ scene. When he returned a year later, he tested out a variety of house styles including funky and harder house sounds. Since his new style can't be classified in any particular genre, he dubbed it his Crack House sound.
