Congo Faith Healers knows diversity like the back of its hand. The alternative blue band itself consists of a drummer from the Congo, a Croatian bassist, a Parisian guitarist and a singer hailing from somewhere. It combines catchy melodies with dirty grooves, and the band's compelling live performances sound like a cross between Led Zeppelin and Tom Waits. With its gravel-throated vocals, this mambo band from London also hints at jazz styles.
