Hindi Zahra was born in Morocco to a Berber father and a mother. She grew up ensconced in varied cultural sounds that constantly envelope Morocco. Making a unique style of music that, Zahra blends an early love of rock and electronic sonic aesthetics with a organic, rootsy approach to create her own original sound. Her well received album, Handmade, was released in early 2010.
