Italy's Erica Mou naturally possesses the type of boyish yet girly charm that many pop artists strive for. Born in 1990, this young and talented singer writes all of her own music. With an airy voice and strong lyrics, her sound is measured by innocence and somewhat ironic sensuality. Her breakthrough came in the year between 2008 and 2009 when she won several Italian music awards, including the final prize at the Liri Festival, a songwriting competition, and released her debut album, You. In October of 2011, the same year she released her second album, titled E', she was invited to New York for the 3rd annual HIT WEEK, the largest festival for Italian music in America.
