Based in Sassuolo, Italy in 2004, Les Fauves was the idea of guitarist and vocalist Roberto Papavero and drummer Davide Caselli. After acquiring a bass player, the band gained quick recognition for personal live performances after playing music festivals such as Benicassim in Spain and Heineken Jammin Festival in Italy. Les Fauves recorded a six-track EP, Our Dildo Can Change Your Life, after adding a keyboardist. This debut effort fussed indie-rock, pop, electro-dance, and new wave styles. The band's first studio album, NALT - 1 A Fast Introduction, was released throughout Italy in 2007 and was the first in a trilogy. Part two of the trilogy, NALT 2 - Liquid Modernity, was released in the fall of 2011. Les Fauves collaborations with techno, dubstep, and filmmakers keeps it's music dynamic, never quite fitting properly into one category.
