Italian pop singer Anna Tatangelo, has been in the music scene since she was 15 years old, when she became the youngest person at Festival di Sanremo singing contest to win the Newcomer's Award in 2002. The following year, with Gigi D'Alessio, she recorded the duet, "Un Nuovo Bacio," which became popular on Italian radio stations. The duet appeared on debut album, Attimo x Attimo, released the same year. Fame came in 2005 with her second album, Ragazza di Periferia, which showed signs of maturity and growth in lyrics as well as performance. Tatangelo released her fifth album, Progetto B, early in 2011, less than a year after she became a judge on X Factor Italy.
