Pond is an Australian psyc-rock band that's comprised of three members of the indie rock group Tame Impala. Crafting 1960s-inspired surf rock tunes that hark back to the glory days of jangle pop, Pond has received critical praise for itself ever since it released its debut album, Corridors of Blissterday, in 2009. Pond released its eighth studio album - Tasmmania in 2019. Following its release, the band went on to tour through Europe and UK, staging memorable performances in Berlin, Amsterdam and Manchester. Though known by serious music connoisseurs in Australia, the band has yet to truly break through in the United States or elsewhere, something that'll no doubt change as the group continues to release music and tour.
