Seattle-based outfit Kinski is an experimental rock band that formed in 1998 over a shared love of analog recording. The group self-released its debut album Space Launch for Frenchie, in 1999, followed by 2001's Be Gentle With the Warm Turtle, before signing with Sup Pop. Kinski dropped its third album Airs Above Your Station, in 2003 and would go on to release its next three studio albums with the now iconic alternative rock label. The band switched over to the Kill Rock Stars before dropping its seventh studio album, Cosy Moments, in 2013, with more indie rock tones than its previous material.
