Alessandra Amoroso

Alessandra Amoroso is singer who stands at the forefront of the Italian pop scene. Born in Puglia, she got her start when she won the talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi. She went on to release her single "Stupida," which immediately shot to the top of the charts and went triple platinum, followed by the double platinum album Senza Nuvole. One of the things that singles her out from the rest of her contemporaries is her unique voice: low, deep, soulful, and even androgynous at times.
