Autechre

Formed in 1987, UK electronic music duo Autechre is one of the genre's greatest innovators. Exploring the intersecting realms of ambient and IDM, the two create off-kilter, meticulously sound designed music, that set the stage for much of the experimental electronic music released in the 1990s and early 2000s. The duo's relationship with the Warp record label helped solidify that label as a pioneering force in music, and in turn, has kept Autechre in the awareness of those new to the genre.
