Incubus

Formed by Brandon Boyd, Mike Einziger and Jose Pasillas in 1991 during their sophomore year of high school, Incubus has gracefully evolved into a band moving fluidly within a number of diverse genres. From funk and jazz to hard rock and reggae, the combination of turntables and Einziger’s guitar eloquence contribute heavily to the band’s distinctive sound. The now five-member outfit from Calabasas, California, has matured from its 1995 debut album, Fungus Amongus, to headlining tours, exploring the festival circuit and even, in Einziger’s case, receiving Harvard degrees.
