Shelby Grey

Shelby Grey is a producer from Spain who makes sunny electropop full of a wide-variety of influences. Using a backing of bouncy electro beats and multiple synthesizer parts, Grey finds room to utilize subdued house pulses and a touch of the trippy, at times ambient, IDM sounds of artists such as Boards of Canada and Aphex Twin, while working in live instrumentation from time-to-time to provide some disco and rock flourishes. Grey released Stateless, his debut EP, in 2011, which included remixes by Undo and Dance Disorder, amongst others.
