Dirty Dishes

Dirty Dishes is an experimentally-tinged indie rock band based out of Boston. The group's combination of shoegaze-y guitar textures, dreamy vocals and polished indie pop has brought on comparisons to like-minded contemporaries such as Autolux and Silversun Pickups. Dirty Dishes employs a relatively sparse guitar, bass, synth and drums four-piece setup that helps keep its affinity for feedback and pedal effects restrained enough as to not distract from the strength of the songwriting. The band released its self-titled debut EP in 2009 and has become one of the more notable indie rock bands in the New England scene since its release.
