Parlovr is an alternative/indie rock band based in Montreal, Canada that has made a leap out of the veritable melting pot of quality independent acts from the French-Canadian city in recent years. Formed in 2007 by friends Alex Cooper and Louis David Jackson as a means for them to test out their creative prowess at indie rock songwriting, Parlovr almost immediately began to take off with the addition of two more bandmates and a full schedule of gigs that would keep the band busy for a long time to come. Since coming off touring much of North America, Europe and even China, Parlovr's infectious brand of "sloppy pop" has become a resounding success that its founders initially could only have dreamed of.
