Labeled as a theater prodigy at a young age, Patrice Chéreau went on to become a director, actor, producer and writer for operas, television, and films. His noticeable touch to the opera stage has been to modernize the stories with the appearance of the background and the costumes. Chéreau has also acted in international films, including “The Last of the Mohicans” in 1992.
