Exhumed

Exhumed is a death metal band from San Jose, California that plays a vintage style of death metal directly influenced by the genre's 1980s pioneers. Interjecting gore-themed lyrics into its songs, Exhumed manages to distinguish and set itself apart from the myriad of other California-based death metal acts out there by building a strong, disturbingly visceral image for itself. Founded in 1990, the group has gone through a substantial amount of lineup changes in its decades long history, but it has nevertheless managed to hold on to its characteristically endearing style.
