Mean Lady, an indie pop trio hailing from Delaware, was formed in 2010 by band members, Katie Dill, and Sam Noble. Mean Lady takes elements from several genres such as, psychedelic, hip-hop, rock, and pop music, to create its own unique sound. Katie, the lead vocalist, entices audiences with her soulful voice and
lyrics about love and heartbreak. The music appeals to a wide demographic, as the audience can appreciate and recognize familiar styles, spanning generations and music cultures. Mean lady signed to Mississippi-based, Fat Possum Records, to produce its debut album titled. Love Now (2013), a nine track album featuring songs Bop Bop, and Far Away.
