Over its long and illustrious career, the German heavy metal band Sinner has released over 15 albums and gone through a significant number of lineup changes. Formed in 1982 and named after bassist and lead vocalist, Matt Sinner, the band initially helped foster the massive hard rock scene that was enormously popular in Germany during the 1980s. Occasionally incorporating elements of progressive rock and symphonic metal, Sinner is able to vary its sound and keep listeners on their feet. Though the band has never achieved massive mainstream success, or a lot of album sales, the group has managed to stay vital by touring regularly and keeping its dedicated lot of ardent fans constantly entertained.
