The Pigeon Detectives

Very much a part of the post punk revival movement a la The Strokes and The Kaiser Chiefs, The Pigeon Detectives is a five-piece British rock band. After forming in 2004, the group began to receive attention both for its unusual name and its highly catchy breed of indie rock, filled with angular guitars, ear worm choruses and straightforward party lyrics that all combine to make up the formula for a pop-rock hit. Championed by influential website and magazine NME from the beginning, The Pigeon Detectives has since built up a sizable following throughout the UK, selling out stadiums across the country.
