Amplifier

Amplifier is a progressive rock band from England that is able to interject elements of experimental and space music into its songs to create for a heady listening experience. Founded in 1999, with the intention of building compositions that serve as a vehicle to take listeners on a sonic journey, especially with philosophical lyrics that deal with the cosmos, astronomy and darker sides of the human consciousness. Amplifier released its well received, eponymously-titled debut album in 2004, nearly a half decade after its formation, which gave the band an opportunity to hone its approach and focus on its songwriting before entering the studio.
