“La Madeleine Proust” is a series of theatrical shows, created by Laurence Sémonin, that surround the life and adventures of a widow who lives in Haut-Doubs (a French region famous for its local accent). Madame Madeleine Proust’s name is a tribute to a famous essay written by Marcel Proust. Certain shows from this series have also been released on DVD.
