John Doyle is a singer/songwriter and guitarist who got his start in the early 1990s. Hailing from Dublin, he played acoustic guitar with the Irish-American groups Solas before embarking on a solo career. He has since developed a reputation for his left-handed playing and rhythmical style that includes bass lines, string chocking and intricate strumming patterns.
