The Lurkers

The Lurkers is a punk rock band that emerged out of West London in 1976. The band made a name for itself by playing gigs at the legendary Roxy Club in London, where several punk pioneers got their start. The Lukers went on to become the first band ever signed to Beggars Banquet Records, just before the release of its 1978 debut LP, Fulham Fallout. Despite undergoing several hiatuses throughout the next two decades, the band managed to release a steady stream of albums, from 1988's Wild Times Again to 1995's Ripped 'N' Torn. The Lurkers finally solidified again in 1999 and has since continued to release records and tour throughout the UK.
