Idir

Idir is an Algerian-French singer-songwriter who originally planned on working in the petroleum business. His debut album, A Vava Inouva, was released in 1975. Idir is well known for playing a Berber shepherd flute that is featured in much of his music and also for performing music in both Berber and French.
