Eddie & The Hot Rods

Eddie and the Hot Rods is a pub rock band from Essex, England that is best known for its 1977 hit "Do Anything You Wanna Do." Formed in 1975, the group developed a quintessentially British sound that blends an unruly attitude and flippant regard for song structure with a slightly sloppy rock ethos. Though band tensions forced Eddie and the Hot Rods to break up in 1980, the band has since reformed and continues to tour and record new music.
