Velvet Revolver

The rock and roll supergroup Velvet Revolver is a hard rock band that consists of former Guns N' Roses members Slash, Matt Sorum and Duff McKagan as well as Scott Weiland of Stone Temple Pilots and Dave Kushner of Wasted Youth. The band found instant commercial success after the releasing its debut album Contraband, in 2004 with a heavy alternative rock sound. After one more studio LP and a handful of turbulent tours, Velvet Revolver parted ways with Weiland in 2008 and has since been on an indefinite hiatus.
