London-based band New Street Adventure is a neo soul/indie pop outfit that is pioneering a new age of soul music. Formed by mastermind Nick Corbin as a three-piece group in 2010, the band is now an ensemble of nine vocalists and musicians with classic songwriting sensibility. Influenced by 1960s and 1970s British pop/rock, the band's sound is a new take on classic pop with its snappy melodies and calculated cool. New Street Adventure released its 2012 Say It Like You Mean It EP, with as style that draws both soul fans as well as novice soul listeners, much like the band's monthly night club New Street Soul Club, held at Bethnal Green Working Men's Club in London, which unites other emerging bands and DJS from the neo soul scene.
