The People Show is an underground theatrical troupe first formed in 1966. After a show by that name, given in the basement of Better Books, original players Jeff Nuttall, Mark Long, John Darling and Sid Palmer decided to stick together, becoming the first experimental theatrical troupe in the UK. While the troupe rarely advertises its work, they play to packed audiences regularly.
