Arthur Higelin is Paris-born singer/songwriter and artist who operates under the stage name Arthur H. Son of famed French musician Jacques Higelin, he was encouraged from a young age to pursue creative outlets and quickly developed an ear for wide range of styles spanning from classical, blues and jazz to punk, Latin American and Middle Eastern music. Arthur H released his self-titled debut album in 1990 packed full of rhythmic experimentation, offering somewhat of a precursor for his highly experimental catalog of music. From his 1996 record Trouble-Fête, and his 1999 film score for the picture Inséparables, to his best-selling record Adieu Tristesse, and various live albums, Arthur H has maintained his artistic integrity while appealing to a widespread international audience.
