Tanya Tucker

Tanya Tucker is a country singer/songwriter from Seminole, Texas who had her first hit, "Delta Dawn," in 1972 when she was 13. Managing to mature and grow into the successful and confident woman that she is today, without losing her respectability, Tucker has proven to be one of the more lasting country voices of her generation. Though Tucker has never achieved the level of popularity she held onto when she burst onto the scene, she has nevertheless maintained a long career that has warranted several well-regarded country albums.
